Get Cell Color

UiPath.MicrosoftOffice.Activities.Excel.GetCellColor

Gets and returns the color of a single cell.

Note

Before using the Get Cell Color activity, you must get the DriveItem resource that represents the workbook you're going to use.

  • To get the DriveItem resource, execute either the Find Files and Folders activity or Create Workbook activity and use the output property (e.g., First, Results, Workbook) variable as the Workbook input property (described below) value for this activity.

Properties

Common

  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity.

Input

  • CellAddress - String - Specifies the cell that you want to get color information from.
    • Default value: "A1"
    • Allowed values: Enter a single cell in A1-style notation.This property does not support a range of cells (e.g., "A1:A5").
  • SheetName - String - The name of the sheet that has the CellAddress that you want to get color information from.
    • Default value: "Sheet1"
  • Workbook - DriveItem - The workbook that includes the specified SheetName.

Output

  • Color - String - The color of the cell returned as a hex value (e.g., #FFFFFF).
    • Allowed values: Enter your value as a String variable that you can use as an input property variable in a different activity.

Misc

  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level.
