your files online. This means that you can store and back up your files online for easy
access from anywhere, including your home computer, your work computer, or your mobile

With the UiPath connector for Dropbox, you are able to use cloud storage and content in
automated processes, such as creating, updating, and managing files and data saved in
Dropbox.

:::note
This connector is built by UiPath and receives official support selectively. The connector supports a limited set of commonly used APIs for the target application and may cover most typical use cases. Also, they are retained in a stable state until the requirements for a new version release are met. ## Authentication

Before
automating processes, you need to establish a connection with your Dropbox instance.
Step-by-step instructions are available in the [Dropbox authentication](https://docs.uipath.com/integration-service/automation-cloud/latest/user-guide/uipath-dropbox-dropbox-authentication#dropbox-authentication)
page.

## Events

The Dropbox connector supports via polling. More information about the events
supported for the Dropbox connector is available in the [Dropbox events](https://docs.uipath.com/integration-service/automation-cloud/latest/user-guide/uipath-dropbox-dropbox-events) page.

## Activity package

You can use the connection to enable the [Dropbox
activities](https://docs.uipath.com/activities/docs/uipath-dropbox-dropbox-activities) in UiPath® Studio
and build automations that interact with your Dropbox data. This allows you to
execute create, read, update, and delete operations on your Dropbox objects.

## Provider documentation

The
UiPath connector is compatible with Dropbox API v2. Learn more at the [Dropbox
documentation platform](https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation).
