# Citrix ShareFile authentication

To create a connection, you need the following credentials:

* Your account's subdomain
* Your username and password.

For example, if your account's URL is "mycompany.sharefile.com", your subdomain is `mycompany`. If you don't know your account's subdomain, use the **Don't know your account's subdomain?** button to receive instructions.

## Add the Citrix ShareFile connection

1. Select Orchestrator from the product launcher.
2. Select a folder, and then navigate to the **Connections** tab.
3. Select **Add connection**.
4. To open the connection creation page, select the connector from the list. You can use the search bar to find the connector.
5. Enter your account's subdomain and select **Continue**.
6. Next, enter your email and password and select **Sign In**.
