Licensing model for Medical Record Summarization, covering Medical Records Summarization Units and the supported pricing models and unit types.

Medical Record Summarization (MRS) is a licensed offering, consumed on an outcome-based model: the solution is licensed per medical record processed, rather than by metering each internal component, such as agents, orchestration, or AI processing.

How licensing works

The solution is available under two pricing models, aligned with the broader UiPath platform:

Model	Unit type	Pooling
Unified Pricing	Platform Units	Can be pooled with your existing Platform Units
Flex	Medical Records Summarization Units	Used only for Medical Record Summarization; not pooled with Agent or AI Units

Platform prerequisites

Medical Records Summarization Units do not replace the platform foundations the solution runs on. To deploy and use Medical Record Summarization, you also need:

Medical Record Summarization is not available under Trial, Free, or Community offerings.
