## Screen Recording permissions for MacOS users

When you first use Assistant on macOS, you're asked to grant your automations permissions for screen recording. Selecting this option opens the Screen & System Audio Recording settings. To grant permission, select the "+" button and find UiPath Assistant in your Applications list. You can also access these settings later in Assistant under **Preferences** > **General**.
