UiPath Explorer Expert

UiPath Explorer Expert is a process discovery tool to help you get detailed insights about automation candidates directly from your employees.

Once you identify potential automation candidates, you'll need to get even deeper insights about the processes directly from employees. Simply share this tool with your inner Subject Matter Experts and they will quickly deliver their expertise about the particular task, provide you with the true vision about the processes you consider for automation, and help you maximize ROI from RPA.

Quick Overview

Working in the background, the tool captures the employee's steps, takes screenshots with every mouse click, and collects smart data about the process statistics (execution time, number of steps, text entries etc.). Thanks to its powerful editing functionality, the employee can seamlessly edit and annotate each screenshot, as well as provide valuable text explanation for each step.

Based on the captured data, UiPath Explorer Expert builds a comprehensive workflow diagram and provides details about each step. The employee can easily customize the diagram or even build their own from scratch. All the collected findings can be quickly exported to UiPath Studio as a workflow template (.xaml format) or can be presented as an insightful Process Definition Document (PDD).

  1. Data-driven approach – the app gathers all intelligent data required for right automation decisions and ROI assessment directly from your Subject Matter Experts.
  2. Elimination of manual work – the tool automatically captures the details of each step in the background, so the employee can easily deliver their expertise without spending too much time on documentation.
  3. Quick and easy way to generate the necessary documents for RPA – based on collected findings, the tool generates ready-made PDDs and automation prototypes with no hassle.
  4. Flexibility – the tool works across the entire UiPath Platform and becomes a perfect fit for either top-down or bottom-up automation strategy.
