# Linking test cases to requirements

> Assign a test case to one or more requirements to establish traceability.

To establish traceability between test cases and requirements, you can assign test cases to requirements in Test Manager.

## Steps

1. In your Test Manager project, go to **Test Cases**.
2. Select the test case key to open it.
3. Select the **Requirements** tab.
4. Select **Assign**, and then select the check boxes of the requirements you want to link the test case to.
5. Select **Assign** to save your changes.

## Result

The test case is linked to the selected requirements.
