# Filtering notifications

> Filter notifications in the Notifications panel by service and severity to view certain notifications first.

The **Service** and **Severity** dropdowns in the **Notifications** panel narrow the list to the notifications you want to see first.

## Steps

1. Open the **Notifications** panel.
2. Select the **Service** dropdown and then select the service for which you want to view notifications.
3. Select the **Severity** dropdown and then select the severity of the notifications that you want to view.

## Result

The Notifications panel displays only the notifications that match the service and severity you selected.
