# Downloading documents

> Download a file attached to a requirement, test case, or test set to your local machine.

Documents attached to a requirement, test case, or test set can be copied from the Documents tab to your computer. The same procedure applies to all three artefact types.

## Steps

1. Open your project in Test Manager.
2. Navigate to your artefact (**Requirement**, **Test Case**, **Test Set**).
3. Select an entry in the list to open it.
4. Go to the **Documents** tab.
5. Select a file and select **Download**.

## Result

The file downloads to your Downloads folder.
