# About the Azure Maps connector

> Integration Service connector for Azure Maps in Automation Cloud, providing activities to convert addresses into geographical coordinates for location-based services.

Azure Maps empowers users to transform an address or region name into geographical
coordinates for use in various location-based services such as weather forecasting.

This connector is built by UiPath and receives official support selectively. The connector supports a limited set of commonly used APIs for the target application and may cover most typical use cases. Also, they are retained in a stable state until the requirements for a new version release are met. ## Authentication

Before automating processes, you need to establish a connection with your Azure Maps
instance. Step-by-step instructions are available in the Azure Maps authentication
page.

## Events

The Azure Maps connector does not currently support events.

## Activity package

You can use the connection to enable the Azure Maps [activities](https://docs.uipath.com/activities/other/latest/integration-service/azure-maps-activities) in UiPath® Studio and build automations for the entire Azure Maps
capabilities suite.
