# IMAP Email Received

> IMAP Email Received activity that initiates an automation workflow when a new IMAP email arrives in Mail.

## Description

Initiates an automation workflow when a new IMAP email arrives.

## Configuration

* **Connection** - The connection established in Integration Service for the Mail connector. Select **Add new connection**. Alternatively, select the gear icon, and then **Add new connection** or **Manage connections**.

    :::note
    Make sure you set the authentication type to **IMAP Username and Password** when the Integration Service page opens.
    :::

* **Email folder** - The folder where the email will arrive. By default, the value is **INBOX**.
* **Additional filters** - Configure additional criteria to check on the email that arrives.

### Options

* **With attachments only** - Indicates whether to consider only emails with attachments. It ignores the inline attachments. Use the toggle to enable or disable this option.
* **Mark as read** - Indicates whether to mark the retrieved email as red. By default, this option is set to **False**.
* **Include attachments** - Indicated whether the email passed to the next activities should contain the attachments. By default, this option is set to **False**.

### Output

* **Email** - The email received.
* **Job data** - Contains job information such as Process name and version, workflow name, Robot name, and execution mode.
