# Delete Email (preview)

> Delete Email activity that deletes an email message and moves it to Trash in Apple Mail.

## Description

Deletes an email message, moving it to Trash.

This activity deletes an existing email message from Apple Mail by moving it to the Trash mailbox. The email message must be one returned by the **For Each Email** activity.

This activity only runs on macOS systems with the Apple Mail application installed and configured.
