# Viewing Task Capture recording file

> Download the Process Definition Document exported as a Word file for a test case documented with Task Capture.

The recording file is the Process Definition Document (PDD) that Task Capture exports as a Word file. It opens from the **Manual Steps** tab of a test case.

## Steps

1. Open a test case on the **Test Cases** page.
2. Navigate to the **Manual Steps** tab.
3. Select **Open recording** to download the file.

## Result

The recording file downloads to your device.
