# 2025.10.18

> 2025.10.18 release notes for Studio.

**Release date: October 21, 2026**

## What's New

### UiPath for Coding Agents

Studio now works with coding agents such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex directly in the IDE. Run an agent on the open project and see its changes in Studio as soon as it saves them. For details, refer to [UiPath for Coding Agents](https://docs.uipath.com/coding-agents/standalone/latest/user-guide/overview).

:::note
The UiPath CLI requires the .NET 10 runtime, which is not included in the Studio 2025.10 installer.
:::

### Integrated Terminal panel

Run any command-line tool, including coding agents and the UiPath CLI, in PowerShell, Command Prompt, Git Bash, or WSL, in the project or solution folder. Each terminal opens in its own tab, and your tabs are restored when you reopen the project. You can find the **Terminal** panel docked with the bottom panels, and reopen it anytime from the new **Panels** button in the title bar. For details, refer to [The Terminal Panel](https://docs.uipath.com/studio/standalone/2025.10/user-guide/the-user-interface#the-terminal-panel).

### Assembly signing

Sign the assemblies Studio generates with your own certificate, in published packages and during Run and Debug, so that application control policies that allow only signed code can load them. For details, refer to [Signing Assemblies](https://docs.uipath.com/studio/standalone/2025.10/user-guide/signing-packages#signing-assemblies).

## Improvements

### Expression errors grouped by workflow

Expression compilation errors are now grouped by workflow file and show the expression that caused each error.

### Automatic reload of external changes

When a coding agent, another editor, or Git changes project files, open files reload automatically, and the **Project** panel and dependencies refresh. If you have unsaved edits, you choose whether to keep them or load the version on disk. For details, refer to [Files changed outside Studio](https://docs.uipath.com/studio/standalone/2025.10/user-guide/about-automation-projects#files-changed-outside-studio).

### Agent-ready projects

New projects include an `AGENTS.md` file that tells coding agents how a UiPath project is organized and which UiPath CLI commands validate, build, and run it, plus a `CLAUDE.md` file for Claude Code. For details, refer to [About Automation Projects](https://docs.uipath.com/studio/standalone/2025.10/user-guide/about-automation-projects).

## Bug fixes

* **TimeSpan** input arguments of processes published with Studio 2025.10.16 or 2025.10.17 had no rich value editor in Orchestrator, which reported *The value is not schema compliant*. Republish the affected processes to restore the editor.
* When Test Manager was disabled or not licensed in Studio, Autopilot could not create or edit workflows and failed with the error *Cannot read properties of null (reading 'ValidateXaml')*.
* When Test Manager was disabled or not licensed in Studio, Autopilot still offered its Test Manager tools, such as reading manual test cases, which then failed. Autopilot now offers them only when Test Manager is available.
* When Autopilot changed project files with PowerShell, the files could be saved with a different encoding or with a byte order mark, and characters such as `ü` were garbled. Autopilot now changes project files with its file and workflow tools, which save them the way Studio does.
* When Autopilot read a large file, the middle of the content was replaced by *... (middle truncated, content too long)...*, even when it read only part of the file. Autopilot now reads large files in parts.
* A project skill in `.local\autopilot\skills` that could not be loaded, for example because its `SKILL.md` file was missing or invalid or another skill had the same name, was left out without explanation. Autopilot now tells you why the skill was not loaded.
* Compiling a project with many workflows could intermittently fail with *Object reference not set to an instance of an object* or *Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute*.
* Changing the exception type of a **Catch** in a **Try Catch** activity while debugging was paused froze Studio. Studio now asks whether to stop the execution.
* After renaming or moving a workflow or folder in a project with coded workflows, building or publishing could fail with `CS0111` or `CS1061`, and a coded workflow could invoke a different workflow than the one intended.
* An integration trigger added to a workflow that already had a trigger did not get its trigger arguments, so it stopped working once the other trigger was removed. Studio now adds the missing arguments when you open an affected workflow and saves it, so the file shows as modified in source control.
* In cross-platform projects that use UI Automation 26.10.2 or later, the **Wizards** group in the ribbon was empty.
* For projects opened from a network path whose server name contains uppercase letters, such as `\\FILESERVER\share`, Git showed every file as new in the **Project** panel and the **Commit** dialog.
* The **Publish** window could be missing the Orchestrator publish locations, such as **Orchestrator Tenant Processes Feed** and **Orchestrator Personal Workspace Feed**, until Studio was restarted.
* In **Project Settings** > **Workflow Analyzer**, the **Scope** column showed *Missing translation* for Coded Workflow rules.
* **Paste** in the **Project** panel context menu could stay disabled after copying a file.
* The **Arguments** tab of the **Data Manager** panel could keep showing the arguments of a previous workflow until Studio was restarted. This happened when you switched Data Manager tabs within a second of editing an argument.
* In Windows - Legacy projects, **Manage Packages** reported *NU1801: The local source '...\Studio\Legacy\Packages' doesn't exist.*, and the package sources ignored the NuGet settings of the Studio installation.
* With **Include Prerelease** cleared, searching a static package feed in **Manage Packages** returned prerelease versions, and the **Project Dependencies Mass Update Tool** could update dependencies to them.
* The browser extension bridge (`UiPath.BrowserBridge.Portable`) shipped its own copy of the .NET 8 runtime at version 8.0.27, which has known security vulnerabilities. It now runs on the .NET 10 runtime, version 10.0.12.
* The bundled **Scriban** templating library has been updated from 7.2.3 to 7.2.7 to address known security vulnerabilities.
* The bundled **OpenTelemetry.Api** library has been updated from 1.9.0 to 1.15.3 to address known security vulnerabilities, including CVE-2026-40894.

:::note
The Autopilot fixes in this release also apply to Studio 2025.10.13 through 2025.10.17, without updating Studio. On those versions, when Test Manager is disabled or not licensed, Autopilot creates and edits workflows without validating them first and then checks them for errors, and it cannot search activities. Update to Studio 2025.10.18 for the complete fix.
