# Workday authentication

> Connect UiPath to Workday by completing prerequisite configuration in the Workday platform, including creating an Integration System User and setting domain security policy permissions.

## Prerequisites

Before you create a connection in Integration Service, you must perform some steps in the Workday platform, such as creating an Integration System User or configuring domain security policy permissions. Refer to [Prerequisites for creating a connection to Workday](https://docs.uipath.com/integration-service/automation-suite/2.2510/user-guide/prerequisites-for-creating-a-connection#prerequisites-for-creating-a-connection-to-workday).

To create a connection, you need the following credentials:

* WSDL URL
* Tenant
* Username
* Password

## Add the Workday connection

To create a connection to your Workday instance, you need to perform the following steps:

1. Select Integration Service from the left rail.
2. From the **Connectors** list, select **Workday**. You can also use the search bar to narrow down the connector.
3. Select the **Connect to Workday** button.
4. You are now redirected to the connection page. Enter your account's WSDL URL, tenant, then your username and password, and select **Connect**.
