### Perplexity connector migrated to Perplexity's Agent API

Perplexity is retiring its Sonar Chat Completions API (supported until September 27, 2026) in favor of the new Agent API. The Perplexity connector in Automation Cloud Public Sector now uses the Agent API for every activity and the **Completed Asynchronous Chat Job** trigger. Existing workflows keep working, and saved Sonar model IDs are mapped to the matching preset automatically. Re-test any workflows that parse the output of these activities, because the output format, citations, or model behavior may differ slightly.

This release also includes the following changes:

* **Model** now offers presets: `fast`, `low`, `medium`, `high`, and `xhigh`. The `r1-1776` model is no longer available, and saved workflows that use it now run on the `medium` preset.
* New optional fields: **Instructions**, **Maximum steps**, and **Reasoning effort**. **Temperature** and **Top p** are available only for the `fast` preset.
* **Top k**, **Presence penalty**, **Frequency penalty**, and **Search mode** are no longer available. A saved **Search mode** value of `academic` or `sec` in **Generate Async Chat Completion** now fails the request.
* **List Async Chat** is no longer supported, because the Agent API has no endpoint for listing jobs. Existing workflows that use it fail. Use **Get Async Chat Object** instead.

### Microsoft Teams: national clouds

Microsoft Teams connections can now target Microsoft national clouds. Use the new **Environment** field to select **US Government L4** or **US Government L5**, the Public Sector domains, or **China**, instead of the default **Office 365** cloud. Previously, creating a connection for a US Government tenant failed.

### Bug fixes

* **Smartsheet** — fixed **Add Row** and **Update Row** failing with a 400 error (`Required object attribute(s) are missing from your request: cell.columnId`) when the input included a row-level property. Row-level properties (**Locked**, **To bottom**, **Expanded**, and **Access level**) are no longer sent as cells.
