# Generate synthetic test data

> You can choose **Generate with Autopilot** when adding test data to your test cases. Initially, Autopilot lets you input specific instructions, after which it produces arguments and variables that are relevant to both the instruction and the associated test data set. Additionally, you can instruct Autopilot to generate new arguments for your test data set that are later added to your test case. Visit [AI-generated test data](https://docs.uipath.com/studio/standalone/2024.10/user-guide/ai-generated-test-data) to check how to generate synthetic test data using AI.
