Skipping host library installation
Skip host library installation when managing components externally in Automation Suite.
Overview
During installation, Automation Suite installs the latest libraries into the host libraries feed.
In specific troubleshooting or compatibility scenarios, you may want to skip installing these libraries during installation.
You can do this by using the advanced configuration mechanism.
Warning:
This configuration should only be used after consulting UiPath Support.
Skipping the installation of libraries may cause existing products or features to malfunction.
Configuration
To skip installing libraries, add the following configuration under the Orchestrator section in the input.json file.
{
"orchestrator": {
"advanced_configuration": {
"libraries": {
"enabled": false
}
}
}
}
{
"orchestrator": {
"advanced_configuration": {
"libraries": {
"enabled": false
}
}
}
}
When this configuration is applied:
- The installer does not install the latest libraries into the host libraries feed.
- Existing libraries already present in the feed remain unchanged.
Important notes
- The
values.yamlfile cannot be modified at install time. - All overrides must be defined in
input.json. - Only specify parameters that require overriding.
- Any changes made only in ArgoCD may be overwritten if the installer is run again.
