Not all permissions are displayed in the Permission drop-down list from the Add/Edit User form. The below sections provide more details:

Permissions
Description

Direct Manager

Responsible for submitted ideas pipeline by identifying duplicates and approving ideas.

This permission can be assigned to any user, doesn’t necessarily have to be the direct manager from the organigram. This user should have extended knowledge of the company's processes as they will regularly check the ideas submitted by the users who are under their area of responsibility and curate those ideas.

The Direct Manager permission can be assigned by following the below steps:

  1. Access Admin Console > Manage Users > People.
  2. Click the Edit icon from the User Account.
  3. The Edit User pop up is displayed. Open the Manager drop-down list.
  4. Select the person assigned as the user's Direct Manager and click Save.
