# Notifications

> Whenever something concerning your activity occurs, the system will send in-app messages. To find and manage them access the **Notifications** option.

Whenever something concerning your activity occurs, the system will send in-app messages. To find and manage them access the **Notifications** option.

To do this, click the bell-shaped icon displayed on the right-hand side of the screen next to the **Tasks** icon.

Here, all the in-app notifications ever sent are displayed in chronological order, from the newest to the oldest ones. You can filter them by **Notification type**, access the content they relate to, and **Mark them as read**.

Each notification contains hyperlinks towards the specified pages/sections.

## Notification Types

| Personal activity | You have been mentioned in a comment added for an idea, automation or component. | Person that was mentioned | The name of the user who made the mention and the idea, automation or component name where this was added. |
| Idea workflow | The idea was approved by the Idea Approver. | Idea submitter  Users following the idea | The idea name and the name of the Idea Approver who approved it. |
| Idea workflow | The idea was rejected. | Idea submitter  Users following the idea | The idea name, name of the user who rejected it and, the reason for the rejection. |
| Idea workflow | The idea was marked as duplicate. | Idea submitter  Users following the idea | The name of the idea, the name of the user who made the update and the name of the idea it duplicates. |
