# Curating a Component

> As soon as a new component or a new version of a published component is uploaded, the below flow is initiated. Any Component Curator from the company can start the curation process by accessing Admin Console > Manage Components and choosing between the following lists:

As soon as a new component or a new version of a published component is uploaded, the below flow is initiated. Any Component Curator from the company can start the curation process by accessing Admin Console > Manage Components and choosing between the following lists:

* **In Review**: contains new components or new versions for already published components for which the curation process was initiated by another user.
* **Submitted**: contains new components or new versions for already published components for which the curation process was not yet initiated.

  The Curation process can be completed by a System Admin or a Component Curator.

Once the process is initiated the component goes through the following investigations:

* Security Checks
* Functionality Testing
* Content Curation
* Documentation Curation
