### Documentation service GA

We're happy to announce that the Documentation service is now generally available in Automation Cloud. The service enables you to access the latest documentation without leaving the Automation Cloud ecosystem, and paves the way for future improvements meant to change the way you interact with the docs.

Please note that the access point to the documentation service has changed, and you can no longer access it from the left rail. Instead, you can now find it in the **Help** menu in the Automation Cloud header.

Don't worry, our public docs website at docs.uipath.com remains available and fully supported. You always have the choice to use our platform in the way that works best for you.

### [Preview] Generative AI powered documentation search

For enterprise organizations in Automation Cloud, this release ships with a generative AI documentation search, designed to simplify the access to needed information.

This feature generates responses to your queries directly from the official documentation, ensuring you receive up-to-date and precise information. To maintain accuracy, the system routinely updates the sourced documentation daily with the latest content from the official documentation.

![Query "restrict access by IP" is entered in the search bar. Filters "automation cloud" and "latest" are applied. The generated answer showcases step-by-step instructions on how to restrict access by IP in automation cloud.](https://dev-assets.cms.uipath.com/assets/images/automation-cloud/automation-cloud-query-restrict-access-by-ip-is-entered-in-the-search-bar-filters-automation-cloud-and-latest-are-applied-the-generated-answ-ce83ce83-d38b7f6e-d38b7f6e.webp)

The AI-powered search is currently in public preview in Automation Cloud. Your feedback is crucial in helping us improve. By using thumbs up or thumbs down, you can help us understand the effectiveness of the answers.

### Introducing Autopilot Express license

**Correction, June 18, 2026:** The Autopilot Express license does not include Studio Desktop access. Development is available in Studio Web; StudioX runs in read-only (attended) mode only. This license has since been renamed to Express User. For full capabilities, see the **Express User license** section in [Autopilot - Flex licensing](https://docs.uipath.com/autopilot/other/latest/overview/flex-licensing#express-user-license).

We are launching a new license, Autopilot Express, which is included in the following licensing plans: Free, Pro Trial, Pro, and Enterprise.

The Autopilot Express license is available to both new customers and existing customers at the time of renewal.

If you are currently an Automation Express license holder, you can continue using it without disruption. Upon license renewal, you switch to the Autopilot Express license. The Autopilot Express license enables development in Studio Web only; StudioX runs in read-only (attended) mode and Studio Desktop is not included.

For further details on the Autopilot Express license, refer to the [Flex: Licensing plan framework](https://docs.uipath.com/automation-cloud/automation-cloud/latest/admin-guide/flex-licensing-plan-framework#plan-breakdown) and the [Autopilot overview guide](https://docs.uipath.com/autopilot/other/latest/overview/licensing).

### Removing the old accounts and groups experience

In our ongoing commitment to improving our platform, we have removed the old accounts and groups experience to transition to an updated interface that includes user and group profiles as a new functionality.

With user and group profiles you can easily audit and troubleshoot your user or group configurations. Unlike before, you can now perform a wide array of operations from a single location: customize group memberships, handle licenses, monitor access, and update user and group info.

For more information about this change, refer to [User and group profiles](https://docs.uipath.com/automation-cloud/automation-cloud/latest/release-notes/november-2024#user-and-group-profiles).

### Known limitation

If the name of a local group member is not on the first page of the member list, the search function does not produce any results.

### Improved tenant-level license tracking and assignment

You can now monitor the quantity of runtimes that are currently in use by a tenant, in addition to the number of licenses that are available for allocation. You can check this new value in the **Edit license allocation** panel for the selected tenant, by choosing the **Licenses** card in the **Admin** section.

This new feature helps you avoid the re-assignment of licenses already in use, by making it easier to count and assign the remaining licenses. For details, refer to [License overallocation](https://docs.uipath.com/automation-cloud/automation-cloud/latest/admin-guide/license-overallocation).

The following image shows the **Edit license allocation panel**, where you can view the number of both available and in-use licenses.

## Deprecation timeline

We recommend that you regularly check the [deprecation timeline](https://docs.uipath.com/overview/other/latest/overview/deprecation-timeline#automation-cloud) for any updates regarding features that will be deprecated and removed.
