# Move Email (preview)

> Move Email activity that moves an email message to a specified folder in Apple Mail.

`UiPath.AppleMail.Activities.MoveEmail`

## Description

Moves an email message to a specified folder.

This activity moves an existing email message to a different folder within the same Apple Mail account and returns the moved email for use in downstream activities. The email message must be one returned by the **For Each Email** activity.

This activity only runs on macOS systems with the Apple Mail application installed and configured.

## Configuration

You can configure the activity and its properties as follows:

* **Email** - The email message to move. Must be an email returned by the **For Each Email** activity.
* **Destination Folder** - The full path of the destination folder, for example `Archive/2024`.

* **Moved email** - The moved email, for use in downstream activities. Does not include attachments.
