# Text Detection

`UiPath.GoogleVision.Activities.TextDetection`

Identifies and retrieves text inside the image.

## Properties

### Common

* **ContinueOnError** - If set, the remaining activities are executed if the current activity fails.
* **DisplayName** - The display name of the activity.

### Input

* **ImagePath** - The path to a local image to be analysed. The field is mutually exclusive with **ImageUrl**. This field supports only Strings and String variables.
* **ImageUrl** - The URL to a remote image to be analysed. The field is mutually exclusive with **ImagePath**. This field supports only Strings and String variables.

### Misc

* **Private** - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level.

### Output

* **IdentifiedText** - An `IEnumerable<LineProperties>` variable that contains information on each line of text identified in the image and its respective position. This field supports only `IEnumerable<LineProperties>` variables.
* **Language** - A String that contains the language in which the text from the specified image is written. This field supports only Strings and String variables.
* **ReturnedText** - A String that contains the identified text from the image. Each line is separated by a new line character. This field supports only Strings and String variables.

**LineProperties** has the following structure:
* **Description** - String. The text of the line.
* **TextRegion** - Rectangle. The region of the text inside the image.
