## Configuration

* **Connection** - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the dropdown menu to choose, add, or manage connections.
* **Select object** - Select an object to use with this activity. Depending on the object chosen in this field, the activity is populated with property fields specific to that object.
* Select **Switch to object view** to explore and map your data using the [Data Mapping editor](https://docs.uipath.com/studio-web/automation-cloud/latest/user-guide/configuring-activities#data-mapping-editor).

### Manage Properties

Use the **Manage Properties** wizard to configure or use any of the object's standard or custom fields. You can select fields to add them to the activity canvas. The added standard or custom fields are available in the **Properties** panel (in Studio Desktop) or under **Show additional properties** (in Studio Web).

An output property is automatically generated based on the selected object.

## Known limitation

Occasionally, when generating an event using Insert Record, it may take Datadog some time to create the record. This can lead to a "404: Not found" error, despite the activity returning the ID. We recommend using a [Delay](https://docs.uipath.com/activities/other/latest/workflow/delay) activity to allow enough time for the data to be transmitted successfully.
