Saved Search

UiPath.OracleNetSuite.Activities.SavedSearch

The Saved Search activity uses the NetSuite getSavedSearch operation to retrieve the results of an existing saved search (Saved Search ID) for a specified record type (Record Type).

After retrieving the saved search, the activity outputs the search results in a DataTable object (Results) and the status of the request (success/failure information) in a ResponseStatus object (NetSuiteStatus).

How it works

The following steps and message sequence diagram is an example of how the activity works from design time (i.e., the activity dependencies and input/output properties) to run time.

  1. Complete the Setup steps.
  2. Add the Oracle NetSuite Application Scope activity to your project.
  3. Add the Saved Search activity inside the Oracle NetSuite Application Scope activity.
  4. Enter values for the Input properties.
  5. Create and enter a DataTable variable and a ResponseStatus variable for the Output properties.
    • Your input property values are sent to the getSavedSearch operation.
    • The operation returns the DataTable and ResponseStatus value to your output property variables.

In the Body of the Activity

  • Record Type - The type of NetSuite record that you want to delete. Select an item from the drop-down list.
  • Saved Search ID - The id of the saved search that you want to use. This field supports only Strings or String variables. To get the Saved Search ID, you can use the NetSuite application UI by going to Lists > Search > Saved Searches. The saved search ID appears in the ID column.
