Description

Connects to a Hyper-V Host and provides a scope for other Hyper-V activities.

Configuration

Common
  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity.
Input
  • HyperVHost - Specifies the Hyper-V Host (Hostname or IP). If not set, it connects to the local computer's Hyper-V. This field supports only strings and String variables.
  • Password - Specifies the password for the provided Username. This field supports only strings and String variables.
  • Username - Specifies the name of the user that performs the Hyper-V operations. If not set, the credentials of the current logged in user are used to connect to the Hyper-V virtualization server. This field supports only secure strings and SecureString variables.
Misc
  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level.

    Note: The user should be a member of the Hyper-V Administrators group. For connecting to local servers, make sure that Authenticated Users is a member of the Hyper-V Administrators local group.
