Get Job Output

UiPath.Alteryx.Activities.GetJobOutput

The Get Job Output activity uses the the Alteryx API to get the output of a job (JobId).

How it works

The following steps are an example of how the activity works from design time (i.e., the activity dependencies and input/output properties) to run time.

  1. Complete the Setup steps.
  2. Add the Alteryx Scope activity to your project.
  3. Add the Get Job Output activity inside the Alteryx Scope activity.
  4. Enter values for the properties located in the body of the activity.

In the Body of the Activity

Input
  • Job Id - The job Id of the app for which you want to retrieve the output. This field supports only Strings or String variables.
  • Output Id - The ID for the output you want to retrieve. This field supports only Strings or String variables.
  • Folder - The local folder you want the file saved to. This field supports only Strings or String variables.
Options
  • Format - The format you want the output in. This field supports only Strings or String variables (e.g. pdf, xlsx, docx, raw, zip, html, or any other format supported by the workflow).
  • Filename - Optional name for the output file. This field supports only Strings or String variables (if not specified, the output id will be used).

Properties

Common
  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity. This field supports only Strings or String variables.
Misc
  • BusinessEntityName - This field supports only Strings or String variables.
  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level.
Output
  • ResponseStatus - The status of the request (success/failure information). This field supports only ResponseStatus variables.
