# Upgrading Action Center

> Follow the steps below when upgrading the standalone version of Action Center:

Follow the steps below when upgrading the standalone version of Action Center:

1. Run the Windows installer.
2. Select the **I accept the terms in the License Agreement** checkbox to agree to the terms in the agreement, then click **Next**. The **UiPath Identity Settings** selection window is displayed.

3. Click the **UiPath Identity** hyperlink, under the **Identity Installation Token** field. This opens the **Security Settings** page, from the **Management** portal in Orchestrator.

4. To enable registration for upgrading Action Center, copy the **Installation Key** and paste it in the **Identity Installation Token** field, in the installer. To copy the **Installation Key**, click the copy ![docs image](https://dev-assets.cms.uipath.com/assets/images/action-center/action-center-docs-image-copy_icon_installtion-key-06eae9fe-1a540591.png) icon.
5. Click **Upgrade** and wait for the new version of Action Center to be installed.

6. After the installation is done, click **Finish**.
