What's new

Improved error analysis in AI-powered test insights

You can now easily identify the test cases affected by each detected issue in your AI-powered test insights report. Whether you're dealing with error patterns, recommendations, or common errors, select Show to view the impacted test cases and search through them. Sections from the report can also be expanded or collapsed as needed.

Selective export of test objects

You can now selectively export test objects, and their dependent objects, from a project. This feature offers you the flexibility to import them into a different project, facilitating the movement of specific sections of a project to another. This is especially useful if you want to split a test project or move portions of it somewhere else. You can selectively export the following objects:
  • Requirements
  • Test cases
  • Test sets

Introducing Data Residency in the United Kingdom and India for Test Manager

As part of our commitment to empowering organizations with control over their data, we are providing complete data sovereignty for the United Kingdom and India regions. We use replication capabilities to securely store data in multiple availability zones within the region.

User access management for AI-powered features

The AI Trust Layer governance policy is now available in Public Preview. This update includes access control over AI-powered testing capabilities of Test Manager. Visit Automation Ops settings for AI Trust Layer and AI-powered testing to learn how to manage the use of AI-powered features within your organization.

What's New

New test case log view

You can now customize the execution log view, to check logs based on Test Set, or Test Case.
  • Test Set: Remains the default, allowing you aggregated viewing of your test executions, for an in-depth review of the related test cases.
  • Test Case: Displays an extensive list of all test case logs, ordered by execution finished time in descending order, including all columns from the original test execution view. Moreover, from the Test Execution column, you can view the relevant test execution and test case log.

Role permissions for AI-powered capabilities

Test Manager roles now have additional permissions, designed for AI-powered capabilities, currently in Public Preview.

Each of these capabilities requires specific permissions, listed in the following table:

Rename AI-powered test insights report

In an effort to tailor to your needs, you can now rename your AI-powered test insights reports, currently in Public Preview. To rename such a report, select More Options for you preferred report, and then select Rename.

What's New

Access latest test generation results

We're excited to announce a new feature, currently in public preview, that instantly displays the latest results from your test case generation based on requirements! Navigate to the Requirements page, and under the Latest Results section, you can select Generated Test Cases. Visit AI-powered test generation for more details.

Upcoming deprecations

The native connectors used for creating ALM tool integrations will be deprecated starting with September 30th, 2024. The long-term alternative to native connectors is UiPath® Test Manager Connect.
